An Unexpected Journey
This term we will be taking inspiration from JRR Tolkien's 'The Hobbit'. It will take us on an incredible journey through amazing landscapes into the world of the imagination - secret messages, life changing experiences and above all, a quest to discover your true character!

PE and Swimming
Your PE lessons will be on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.
Your PE kit should be kept in school on your peg. You must have a change of PE kit and shoes in school in a PE bag. You should not be doing PE in the shoes you come to school in. Please have a separate pair of pumps or trainers for your PE lessons. Please ensure you have a name on all items of kit.
This term swimming lessons will be on Friday afternoons.
You will need to make sure you bring your swimming kit each week.
Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely traveling any farther than his pantry or cellar. But his contentment is disturbed when the wizard Gandalf and a company of dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an adventure. They have launched a plot to raid the treasure hoard guarded by Smaug the Magnificent, a large and very dangerous dragon. Bilbo reluctantly joins their quest, unaware that on his journey to the Lonely Mountain he will encounter both a magic ring and a frightening creature known as Gollum.
